Training

The Carers Centre is committed to training both its staff and carers who use the centre. It also has a duty to the wider public to educate and inform about issues affecting carers and the people they care for.

The training program is ongoing and details can be obtained from the centre.

The centre provides training packages to both statutory and voluntary agencies. These help to raise awareness of current carers issues. Training is also high on our agenda for carers themselves. We work closely with our carers to provide the training they identify themselves.
